Geocostals

Geocostals are monolithic units, or as the name implies, they are sacks made of non-woven polypropylene geotextiles for high durability. They are linked or tied together and can be filled with grass and shrub seeds, earth, gravel or sand.

Geocostals control water erosion, reduce runoff speed, stop silts and filter water, fill gaps, stabilize the bottom of gullies in the short term, favor the accumulation of sediments, act as protection elements in rural infrastructure works and also difficult to access.

Features

Lockdown

The geosynthetic material acts by preventing the movement or lateral displacement of materials, either by friction or mechanical interlocking mechanisms depending on their coefficient of interaction.

Erosion control

Geosynthetics prevent surface erosion of soil particles caused by surface water runoff and / or wind forces.
