The manufacture of Geocostals It is made to measure for each project, so the dimensions required by each Client / Project are met. In addition, each Geocostal has a weatherproof and imputable seam and a tie strap (drawstring) at the top for easy closing and handling in the field.
The filling material is variable depending on the application and the objectives of the use of these compact structures in each project. Depending on the filling material and the resistance requirement, there are recommendations for the non-woven geotextile to be used in its manufacture, typically:

- Geocostal Mirafi® 140NC: For filling of fine materials and low resistance to manipulation.
- Geocostal Mirafi® 140N: For filling of fine materials and resistance to medium-low handling.
- Geocostal Mirafi® 150N | Mirafi® 170N: For filling of fine materials, roots and gravel; medium handling resistance.
- Geocostal Mirafi® 180N: For filling of coarse materials and gravel; high handling resistance.
