1/2 ″ CTS to 1 ″ IPS (16mm to 34mm)

McElroy's smallest fusion machine. Simplify butt fusion projects in small diameters. It is compact, lightweight, highly reliable, accurate, and rugged. This machine requires only one operator and works in the toughest conditions.

McElroy patented features and precision engineering provide joint integrity and minimal maintenance. Narrow clamp design allows end fusion with precise pipe alignment at fusion joint. The heater is controlled by a thermostat and has a durable non-stick coating.

1/2 ″ CTS to 1 ″ IPS (16mm - 34mm)

McElroy 1LC offers a more conventional style of operation while maintaining the excellent characteristics of the LC equipment. The heater is designed to be located on the guide bars of the unit, similar to the other McElroy fusion machines. The compact design of the 1LC allows fusion in tight spaces. 

It includes a semi-automatic Locking Chamber (LC) system to maintain force during the cool down cycle, and integrates McElroy's patented Center Guide system. The 1LC only requires one operator and uses the same inserts as the McElroy MiniMc ™.

1/2 ″ CTS to 2 ″ IPS (16mm - 60mm)

Employs a semi-automatic locking chamber system to maintain force during the cooling cycle. The 2LC incorporates McElroy's patented center guide system and is designed to butt-fuse bypass taps, elbows and other couplings.

The machine is constructed primarily of surface-hardened aluminum to offer light weight and durability at the same time. The jaws and inserts have multiple serrated edges for maximum grip on the tube. Due to its ergonomic design, it helps reduce operator fatigue and also allows the machine to be moved effortlessly.

There are a variety of accessories available for the 2LC.

1/2 ″ CTS to 2 ″ IPS (16mm to 60mm)

The 2CU machine butt fuses pipes, branch taps, elbows and other fittings. This Combination Unit (CU) incorporates McElroy's patented Side Fusion feature. Chain Press Sidewall Fusion Clamps allow unit to be centered from a main pipe for sidewall fusion from 1/2 ″ to 2 ″ service saddles, round base branch saddles and small bypass taps .

The 2CU is equipped with a chain long enough to hold pipes up to 8 ″ IPS. Additional lengths of chain are available for larger main pipes.

1 ″ IPS to 4 ″ DIPS (32mm - 110mm)

It is a compact, light, highly reliable and resistant machine. Incorporating McElroy's patented Center Guide system, it is designed to fuse bypass taps, elbows, and other couplings with consistent, high-quality results. The machine's semi-automatic locking chamber system maintains force during the cooling cycle.

The PitBull® 14 is constructed primarily of surface hardened aluminum for light weight and durability. Among its features it offers reversible jaws, clamp knobs and fairing. An optional caster cart with pipe supports or a base for the manual fusion machine is available. The base raises the machine to a comfortable level and folds down for easy portability.

1¼ ”to 4 ″ IPS (32mm - 102mm)

McElroy Sidewinder® fusion machines are designed for the fusion of branch accessories such as service saddles into 1 ¼ "to 4" IPS pipe or smaller branch saddles.

Two configurations are available: Jaw Clamp and Chain Clamp. The version anchored by means of a chain is ideal when the main line is of small diameters up to diameters greater than 4 ”.

2 ″ to 6 ″ (63mm - 180mm) and 2 ″ to 4 ″ (63mm - 125mm)

Performs angle fusion and butt fusion for 2 ″ to 6 ″ (63mm - 180mm) polyethylene pipe, and socket fusion capability of 2 ″ to 4 ″ (63mm - 125mm) polypropylene pipe and fittings.

The Polygon ™ machine is a 3-in-1 butt fusion machine for 0-45 degree angle joints with additional socket fusion capability for polypropylene pipe. It is the first McElroy manual machine compatible with the DataLogger®, which allows documenting that the fusions are in accordance with international standards.

Angle fusion options are designed to address the complexities of pipe installation and renovation, saving time and money on the purchase of fabricated fittings. Polygon ™ equipment easily accommodates socket fusions by exchanging jaws with an optional Spider ™ 125 Series 2 adapter kit.

2 "IPS to 6" DIPS (63mm - 180mm)

The Acrobat ™ 180 is a versatile machine designed for butt fusion of pipes and fittings.

The machine offers consistent butt fusion joints in an economical and reliable package. Acrobat ™ is ideal for trench work. It can be converted from 4 to 3 jaws to create a more compact unit and can be further reduced by removing the base plate so that fusions can be made more easily in confined areas, reducing digging time.

The fusion cart is powered by a robust hydraulic power unit (HPU) that is also lightweight and easy to transport for quick installation on the job site. This HPU allows the operator to preset the facing, heating and fusion pressures individually without having to make adjustments between operations, greatly streamlining the fusion process.
