Compatible with the DataLogger 7 it has a built-in data logging feature that records each fusion joint, allowing you to verify the integrity of the joints.

Pit Bull® 28 machines butt fusion pipe in tight fittings, or for joining tees, elbows, adapters and fittings. Compact and portable, the Pit Bull® 28 rig is built specifically for pipe melting in trenches, it is used for special applications where the wheeled or tracked vehicle is not needed. The machines are available in multiple configurations to ensure your pipe fusion needs are met. It can be converted from a 4-jaw carriage to a 3-jaw carriage for an even more compact fusing unit. Pit Bull® machines offer consistent bond quality at all times. The patented Center Line Guide feature is a balanced force system that ensures that the center line of the pipe is in the same plane as the clamping jaws to provide an even distribution of force around the diameter of the pipe. Rigid aluminum carriage construction and hard anodized jaws help round pipe and maintain alignment. Electric hydraulic units use semi-automatic control that maintains constant pressure throughout the fusion process, helping to produce quality gaskets. The cart, heater, insulated heater bracket, and hydraulic power unit (HPU) are separate components that can be placed in various arrangements to allow flexibility in confined environments. Also available is a PitBull 28 (CU) combination unit that allows taps with a maximum base diameter of 9.63 ”to be fused into any size main pipe.

The Acrobat ™ 250 has a lightweight design and small footprint that allows operators to merge pipe in small trenches and other areas where space is limited. To further reduce your footprint, the carriage can be configured from 4 to 3 jaws without tools. The Acrobat ™ 250 is compatible with two Hydraulic Power Units (HPU) designed to meet the maximum system pressure desired at your job site. Both allow the operator to preset facing, heating and melting pressures.

The TracStar 250® Series 2 has been completely redesigned based on feedback directly from the operators. The new machine now shares the same vehicle with the TracStars 28, 412 and 618 range and is powered by a powerful diesel engine, which is especially useful in workplaces where gasoline is not allowed. TracStar 250 Series 2 fusion machines feature an interchangeable 4-jaw carriage that can be easily removed for trench fusion.

TracStar 412 Series 2 fusion machines feature an interchangeable 4-jaw carriage that can be easily removed for trench fusion. For tight installations, it can be converted to a 3-jaw carriage to work with an even more compact fusing unit. Also available is the TracStar 412 Series 2 automatic that guides the operator through a step-by-step procedure for fusing the tubing. A hydraulic pipe clamping option is also available.

The TracStar® 618 Series 2 rig has been completely redesigned based on feedback coming straight from the field. The new machine now shares a common vehicle with the TracStars 28, 250 and 412 range and is powered by a powerful diesel engine, which is especially useful in workplaces where gasoline is not allowed. TracStar 618 Series 2 fusion machines feature an interchangeable 4-jaw carriage that can be easily removed for trench fusion. For tight installations, it can be converted to a 3-jaw carriage for an even more compact fusing unit. Series 2 machines feature a new design that helps dissipate heat, while providing easier access for machine maintenance. An updated electrical system increases circuit protection and a standard battery disconnect is now incorporated for easy lockout. Considered the flagship of McElroy machines, its success produced the entire TracStar line of fusion equipment. The TracStar 500 Series 3 adds productivity enhancements such as a machine driven skid-mounted fairing and heater, standard hydraulic clamping, dual tube lifters, and an economical engine throttle setting that helps save fuel. The TracStar 500 Series 3 Automatic is also available, ideal when automatic control and monitoring of heating, heat absorption, melting and cooling cycles is required.
