The Mirafi® MTK Self-Adhesive Waterproofing Membrane (Miratak) is a geocomposite made of rubber, asphalt, and polypropylene nonwoven geotextile that serves as a moisture barrier that resists water intrusion or crack reflection control in flexible pavements. Its main use is for the local covering of existing cracks in asphalt folders, which will be refolded.

The Mirafi® MTK waterproofing membrane provides long-term reinforcement that extends the life of asphalt pavement by reducing water infiltration through the layers of the pavement structure.
