The MegaMc® 1648 is a powerful machine with a single operator control system that butt fuses pipe and most accessories without special brackets or without removing the outer jaws. Hydraulic power assists all fusion functions, including complete operation of clamps, pipe lifters, heater, and facer. The Series 2 model has additional melting force and is capable of working in trenches with a removable 3- or 4-jaw carriage. Mitred inserts are available for fabrication of elbows. This machine is also DataLogger® compliant to ensure quality of work on the job site.
